EinsteinPlus is a one-week intensive workshop for Canadian and international high school teachers that focuses on modern physics including quantum physics, special relativity, and cosmology.EinsteinPlus also provides unique opportunities to learn some of the latest developments in physics from expert researchers at the forefront of their fields, enjoy lab tours and take part in social events with like-minded teachers from around the globe. The Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Atlantic program is holding a Science Retreat on Saturday June 1st 2013 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. at MSVU. Girls in grades 7-12 can participate. The event will have hands-on sessions in chemistry, robotics, and we'll have female role models for round table mentoring and more. The fee is $10, including lunch.
