The VP of Communication sits as Chair of the Communication Committee.  The Chair is responsible for maintaining an up-to-date list of contact numbers and addresses of the School representatives, the Local Executive and of all the members of each committee of the Halifax City Local, informing all Local Council members of Union events, maintaining the Loca's website and circulating meeting notices.  The Communication committee may be responsible for creating and publishing The Local register.  the committee will encourage members to contribute articles or other items for publication within the Register.  Anyone with a particular interest in designing and/or publishing would be an asset on this commiittee but it is not a requirement.
